Video Production

Most of my work as a Creative Producer has focused on print and digital projects, but I recently expanded into video production and discovered how much I enjoy it. Working in video has allowed me to guide storytelling in a new way, partner more closely with editors and animators and support content that feels clear and engaging. Below are a few video projects I helped bring to life that reflect my growing experience in this space.

FEMA IMMERSED Training Video & 2-Minute Tips Video Series

Year: 2025

The FEMA Immersed campaign uses VR technology to help communities better understand flood risk and the importance of mitigation. For this project, I worked with our internal creative team and the client to shape the script and overall direction of a facilitator training video.

I coordinated each phase of production including script development, editing and communication with our video vendor to make sure the visuals and narrative aligned with FEMA goals. I also hired and directed the voice-over talent and joined the recording sessions to guide tone and delivery. I managed all client reviews and feedback rounds for every version of the video. I even appeared on screen as one of the VR participants to help demonstrate the experience.

My involvement supported FEMA efforts to make the training easy to understand, consistent across events and simple for facilitators to use in community settings.

2-Minute Tips is a short-form video series that takes FEMA one-hour training webinars and condenses them into quick segments that are easier to follow. Our challenge was to simplify technical content and present it in a clear and visually engaging way.

I worked with our creative team and the client to shape the identity of the series including naming, tone and style concepts. Once the name “2-Minute Tips” was selected, we developed the logo, color palette and visual system that gave the series a modern and helpful feel.

After the creative direction was approved, I partnered with our external production team to oversee animation, editing, script refinement and all client feedback rounds. The project resulted in three short videos that made training content clearer and easier for viewers to absorb.

Event Production

Event creative has always been one of my favorite parts of managing production. I enjoy seeing branding and storytelling take shape in a physical space and bringing experiences to life through signage, displays and environmental graphics. Over the years I have supported many events by partnering with design teams, event leads and production vendors to deliver creative that is cohesive, polished and true to the story being shared.

Indoor hallway with colorful banners promoting PBS programs, including 'POV', 'American Masters', 'Frontline', 'Nature', 'Antiques Roadshow', and 'Nova', arranged along the wall.

PBS attends the Television Critics Association Press Tour twice a year. My role was to help shape the visual theme and event branding. I worked with internal events and design teams and production vendors to develop signage, displays and environmental graphics for each cycle. From early concept conversations through final installation, I supported the full creative execution that helped define the PBS presence at the tour.
